Sunday Strange World 1
WORLD LARGEST FOUNTAIN IS IN DUBAI
The fountains, which has yet to be named, will be capable of shooting water over 150 metres into the air - the height of a 50-storey building - and stretch over 275 metres - the length of two football fields
The $218 million project will be 25 percent larger than the iconic fountains at the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas
Like the Fountains of Bellagio, Emaar's fountains will include an integral light and sound show and is expected to become one of Dubai's major tourist attractions, drawing over 10 million visitors per year.
The fountains will shoot 22,000 gallons of water in the air at any given moment and feature over 6,600 lights and 50 colour projectors.
The fountains have yet to be named and a cash prize of $27,225 has been assigned to the winner of a competition to name the water feature
The structure is scheduled to be operational by 2009
Sunday TAZKIRAH 1
Kenapa dilarang ketawa berdekah-dekah?
Saidina Ali sentiasa mengeluh '....jauhnyaperjalanan ... sedikitnya bekalan ....'
- beramal semasa muda lagi
- bertolong-tolongan kerana Allah
- jauhi diri dan keluarga dari zina
- mendidik anak kewajipan beragama
- mendirikan solat wajib dan sunat

- meninggalkan sembahyang

Man Utd new home kit
United's new home kit for the 2009/10 campaign has been officially unveiled and you can now see it in all its glory in our special gallery on ManUtd.com.
The red kit, which can be pre-ordered online now, celebrates 100 years of Old Trafford with a large chevron across the chest, reflecting the design of the shirts worn by United when the stadium first opened during the 1909/10 season.
The back of the shirt has an engineered mesh, which is a series of small chevrons, a performance feature to offer the players even greater ventilation during games. Inside the black round-neck collar is a high quality woven label in red, white and black, while engineered into the side seam is a small label that reads ‘The Theatre of Dreams Since 1910.’
The shirt is made from Nike Dri-Fit fabric, which keeps the players drier, cooler and lighter by drawing sweat from the body to the fabric’s surface, while it’s three-dimensional construction gives more air space around the skin to reduce clinging.
The white shorts have a red stripe along the side, a red devil graphic on the back of the waist band, while the draw cords feature 'MUFC' on the tips. The black socks have a red chevron on the calf.
The players will don the kit for the first time during their pre-season tour of Asia next month. The squad fly out to the Far East on 16 July - the day the kit goes on sale and on which pre-orders will be delivered.
Wayne Rooney says it's an honour to wear the shirt week in, week out and is looking forward to pulling on the latest design.
"It's always exciting to see the new kit," he told ManUtd.com. "It's important that we like it and get used to it before the season starts [on tour]. I'm really excited about playing in it."
Ji-sung Park echoed those sentiments, adding: "It always feels great to put the kit on and there is always a great meaning behind our kits. History is very important at this club and it’s something all the players are aware of.
"I really like the chevron feature – I like to think of it as ‘V’ for victory and hopefully we can win every game we play in the new kit."

Adios Carlos Tevez
Saturday confirmed what most fans have suspected for weeks now; Carlos Tevez will not be joining the club permanently.
For the past two seasons it has been a privilege to watch him in action and I for one have appreciated every ounce of sweat and every pound he has shed during United’s quest for success in all competitions.
We have had many talented front players over the years but few have worked harder for the cause than Tevez. Fans always knew what they were going to get from him every time – 100 per cent in effort.
In the past few weeks his imminent departure has been debated endlessly on the Talking Reds and what I have found interesting has been the shift in attitude from some users as it became less likely that he would be signing a permanent deal. Tireless work rate has become known as running around like a headless chicken whilst his goals seem to have been completely forgotten about; goals without which we might not be Premier League champions and back to back Champions League finalists.
During 2007/08 his timely interventions rescued vital points against Spurs and Blackburn in the league, while a vital away goal against Lyon kept United in the hunt for Champions League glory. My own personal favourite from that season was his winner in front of the Kop against Liverpool. Last season, though his league goals were rarer, he kept up his knack of scoring at vital times, such as the second goal against City to provide a cushion in that game. Perhaps more importantly, his cheeky back-heel gave us the crucial equaliser at Wigan, whilst in the Champions League, it was his goal at home against Porto that ensured one goal would be enough in the second leg to take us through to the semi-finals. He was also top scorer in the successful Carling Cup campaign with six goals – including four against local rivals Blackburn.
Even when he didn’t score, Carlos proved his worth in the title race with all-action displays in the memorable games against Villa and Spurs at Old Trafford. From attempting to slide tackle a Villa player with his head to being the catalyst in United overcoming a two-goal deficit to emerge 5-2 winners against Spurs, his contribution in both games was priceless.
Though I hoped that a permanent deal would be concluded during the summer, his comments in the media towards the end of the season seemed to indicate he felt his time was up at United. Couple these with his reaction to being substituted against Arsenal in the final home league game of last season, and my hope began to look a vain one.
As United supporters we can take solace in the fact that a move to Liverpool looks highly unlikely if recent quotes are to be believed, but this still means he could sign for City or Chelsea - if he does not move abroad.
Whilst I will not feel comfortable with him possibly ending up at City I know that when he returns to Old Trafford I will applaud him in the same way that Carlos, Carrick and Ferdinand are applauded when they return to West Ham. This shows a touch of class – something that is often missing from the modern game – and I sincerely hope that United supporters can display the same for Carlos. For his efforts in the last two seasons, he deserves that at the very least.
Farewell Carlos and thank you for everything.
